I have a general question about how the Video Quality setting for downloads works. I created a smart synce for a TV series and selected 1080p (6 mpbs) from the Video quality drop down. I initially throught this would make the plex server transcode it before serving the file but I’m not seeing any transcoding activity on the server.
So where is the conversation happening to 6 Mbps 1080p? Surely it’s not on the phone right?
