Adding this feature request in response to the email conversation we had!
Is it possible to have the always on display update when tracks change? At the moment if a song is playing and it changes while the phone is locked, the always on display will not update to show the new song that’s playing.
Let me know what other info I can provide! 
As discussed next version will allows that if you enable the option Show times in the settings and are on Android 11+.
