Sharing a playlist from NewPipe Android App doesn't work

When I create custom playlist in the NewPipe App, there’s an option to share it.
There are 2 Options for Sharing:
1): “Share the URL-List”
2): “Share with Title”
When I attempt 1), Nothing plays (In Kodi, the youtube shows an error which says “This video is unavailable”)
When I attempt 2), only the first video of the playlist is played, but no others.

Sorry for not posting any logs, but I’m not sure if this is an issue related to Yatse, could be other components, too:

  • Kodi
  • The Youtube Addon for Kodi
  • Yatse
  • Newpipe

If you need me to post logs for further investigation, please let me know.

Thanks and regards

Well as you may have guessed without logs I have absolutely no way to answer.

Thanks for your quick response!

Okay, no problem, here are some logs (I tested with sharing a playlist with 4 videos, first with the URL and after that with Title):
Yatse:
debug-20241211_145418.zip (30.8 KB)
Description: ---- Technical details, please do not remove ----
Yatse: 11.8.0-21108298 [true/0/42/126]
Android: 13 - 33 [arm64-v8a,armeabi-v7a,armeabi]
Device: samsung - SM-G930F [heroltexx - heroltexx]

Kodi (I enabled debug logging for the youtube app only, hope this is enough).

Please let me know if you need further info

Those are not playlists, they are just many youtube urls in a text.

Yatse will only extract the first one so all mostly works as expected.

Hm okay, I see, yes, these are not Youtube playlists but local playlist (I assume NewPipe just saves individual links). But shouldn’t yatse then extract all links one by one?

Should no, could maybe but this cause a lot of issues due to the kodi addon limitation and kodi playlists and everything so it does not and won’t.

Okay, I can’t really argue with that, I’m not familiar with Kodi’s or its Addons internal functions. Would it (technically) be possible for the Youtube Addon to handle such situations? I mean are all links transmitted over to Kodi? Maybe I could ask there then if they might support it.
