NFC and QR support

It would be great if Yatse had full NFC and QR support to play movies/songs/albums/playlists/ movie sets-collections/…

e.g. the context menu of each of these elements shows a “generate NFC/QR tag” and whenever this tag is scanned yatse opens, automatically switches to the host that contains that element and then plays/resumes it.

The goal is adding QR/NFC tags to movies/CDs/… cases so when scanned they are automatically reproduced (obviously they’ve been previously ripped and added to kodi)

Use tasker or automate and the API for that, it’s made for those kind of use.

I remembered 5 minutes after posting, and I’ve been trying to make it work since then but I’ve not been able to. I’m opening a support ticket and this feature request can be closed.

EDIT: I was going nuts with the URI but I managed to make it work, no support ticket needed, topic can be closed.
