Marantz UPnP receiver volume control

Hey there, I’m a long time user and been a pro user since 2016 and I absolutely love this app. It blows Kore “the official Kodi remote” out of the water! Every time I upgrade my device I immediately install this app. That being said, I’m very familiar with this app and yet I’ve run into an issue I’m unfamiliar with.

I recently upgraded my surround receiver to a Marantz sr6010 and have installed the UPnP plug-in, Yatse immediately finds the receiver yet when I test the volume buttons, I get nothing. No volume adjustment but when I press mute, I get the following toast notification:

Error: error response: {faultcode=s:Client, faultstring=UPnPError, UPnPError/errorCo…

I’ve tried creating a log and finding this exact error but I’m not finding anything in my log files plus the logs are named Plex, which is strange since I don’t have Yatse configured to work with Plex. Any help would be appreciated

Some devices don’t support setting volume outside of when something is actually playing on the device. Not much I can do about it.

Thank you for the reply, I read that in the configuration and test screen but even if I’m playing something and in the “now playing” screen, it still doesn’t adjust the volume. I’ve adjusted firewall settings on my router. Additionally, I use AdGuard on my phone, I’ve disabled routing Yatse traffic through the app as well as turning AdGuard off altogether because it has been a culprit in causing issues with other apps in the past and still, I see no difference.
