1: Play and cast to chrome duo speaker (it looks like fine)
In my opinion I also had problems here in the old app ??
2: Play and cast to Xiaomi Mi Smart Speaker (with build in Chromecast) bad results
In this situation I have 2 variants:
a: message Problem starting media.
does your player support the selected file format?
b: tracks only want to play after first fast forwarding
3: Play and cast to Sonos UpnP no problems at all

Are you sure it works with the Emby client without issues to those speakers too?
There’s no errors now anywhere.

Embey audio cast to Xiaomi smart speaker without problems.
My preference is for Yatse because it contains the great function for creating smart playlists.
I do not have this function in Embey.

Well while there was a real bug on Yatse side for the transcoding profile of wma on chromcast, the rest is really a bad Xiaomi device as usual, they really don’t care about respecting how things are supposed to work …
Anyway yes the workaround for that specific device will be in next release.

I was already afraid of that
testing time about 15:45
Seems the group is corrupted by Xiaomi too 
Will apply the workaround to cast groups too, it does not seems to break my group here and delay seems minimal.
