Cant get casting from youtube to Kodi work

Hello,

I have latest youtube addon in Kodi 18.2 (Amlogic platform, CoreELEC), UPnP enabled, library sharing within UPnP enabled, latest yatsee helper script installed on Kodi.

Even though, when I tried Cast from Android’s youtube application (Kodi is found through UPnP without problems and selected), and play it through Yatsee, Ive got

on Kodi side… Could you advice me whats missing?

You are missing full unedited logs :wink: But anyway there’s enough.

You are trying to stream to Kodi via UPnP, you need to share to Kodi as a normal player not in streaming mode, press stop cast.

Ou! Thank you very much. Apologies, I am novice user in this sharing stuff.

Now I understand, that UPnP mode is for local media from Android, and other apps can use Sharing mode without cast, if supported.

UPnp is for players others than Kodi that only support UPnP :slight_smile:

For all the sharing to Kodi you should not be connected via UPnP, it’s way more limited.
