Button to switch back to the beginning of a tv show

Hi there,

currently there is a button to start the recording of tv shows in the future.
It would be great to have also a button to switch back to the beginning of TV shows in the past. Today the beginning must be found manually which is very hard sometimes.

How is that possible so see tv shows in the past?
In the IPTV Simple Client it is possible to activate “inputstream.adaptive for m3u8 (HLS)” in the expert settings. Then it’s possible to use official streams (e.g. here: GitHub - jnk22/kodinerds-iptv: Kodinerds IPTV - Freie und legale Streams für Kodi) to switch back to a tv show that has already began. 2nd way is to use Dash-URLs (also here: GitHub - jnk22/kodinerds-iptv: Kodinerds IPTV - Freie und legale Streams für Kodi)

I’m sorry but Kodi does not expose a proper API to do that.

Not really this is not related to JSON api at all :slight_smile:

But I’ll get another look in case something was added in Matrix.
