Android volume vs. Kodi volume

I have a Xiaomi TV Box S running with android oreo.
Kodi is running fine on this device.
If I control the volume with yatse, the kodi internal volume is controlled not the volume of the device itself.

  1. Is there any option in yatse to control the devices volume?
  2. Or is there an option in kodi to route that command to the host device?

Yatse can only control Kodi and I do not think there’s option in Kodi for that sorry.

It will only work if you have audio pass through enabled in Kodi and are using HDMI to provide audio.

and have CEC and are only using volume + and volume - and are using Event Server :slight_smile:
