Android Auto RemoteControl playback

Hi,

I have Kodi running on tablet and want to remote control and start this Kodi from Android Auto as it is possible with the app itself without Android auto? Yatse Remote Starter is running.

Starting movies etc. for backseat entertainment over the tablet is the goal here.

Is this possible eg. with a seperate yatse app and allowed as Google Android auto app?

This is not possible the API on Android auto is really strict. You can either use the phone by going out of AA or use tasker to send the command automatically when plugged to Android Auto or other condition you’d choose.
