It’ll take some time to scan, I think. I’ve just forced one.

Well, that is inserting the specials into the relevant series, now. Unfortunately, since they are still in series 0, Smart Sync is still choosing to download specials before the next unwatched episode in the regular series.
EDIT: Hang on, I don’t think I cleared the already synced special episode. Trying again.
