# Searching options

Hi, Idk if it was asked before but Kodi allows users to choose what to look for when typing on the SEARCH bar. It could be titles only, or also actors and directos.

I know one can filter by actors and directors, but sometimes we want to quickly find a movie from a director or actor and nothing more practical than just typing a people name on search bar and that’s it. Simple.

Not necessarily by default, it could be optional on settings for those who want to expand the searching range. Kodi does it.

It would be a plus. Thanks
