Russian characters are not recognised

Issue description:
Russian characters are not recognized when creating a rule “Path and filename” “Include” for smart playlist. If a folder is named “случайsluchai” it will work for “sluchai” but fail for “случай”.

This is strange I do not see any error, does Russian search works properly in all the other cases / filters ?

This sounds more like Kodi sending wrong data. I’d need logs containing a full sync (long press music in left menu)

I wasn’t clear enough. It happens when I create playlist from local Android library. I don’t think it has anything to do with Kodi. Seems more like Android path handling error.

The answer is still valid I need logs with sync data in it.

Hum ok so the file path are url encoded. Will try to find a workaround.
