Currently using gesture navigation on the Android 11 Beta
and can no longer access the “always-accessible” right-drawer remote
Obv this version of android is not a full release yet,
but wondering is there (or will there be) an alternative way to access this panel in Yatse?
i really miss being able to open it!

Nothing have changed from Android 10 
You need to find the right angle to swipe or long press at the far side to show it.
