VLC betas has added remote control options. Would be great if Yatse added support.

That would be really nice, I have a couple of Raspberry devices running vlc under Raspberry OS and used for.playing music, would be so comfortable.to use Yatse to control them.

VLC beta with remote access has rolled out for Android TV. But I can’t get Yatse to see or connect to it. Using 11.8.0 beta stream.
